How Did You Become a Member of PLMA's Leadership Team?

I was initially recruited by John Powers to join the DER Integration Interest Group as a co-chair in the fall of 2016 in Del Ray, FL. From there, I got increasingly involved with PLMA and was strongly encouraged by Rich Philip and Michael Brown to engage as a candidate for an officer position on the basis of my interest in and commitment to the organization.

Don’t be shy; we are a volunteer run organization and many hands make light work. If there’s something that interests you, whether you are knowledgeable on the subject or not—just raise your hand and jump right in. The more voices, the more perspectives, the more thought we bring to this industry, the better off we will all be because if it. Your involvement is not only encouraged... it is needed.
