While we can’t predict the future, almost all signs are pointing toward increasing energy demand from electrification, variable supply from renewable generation, and extreme weather events from fires to floods. At the same time, safe, affordable, and reliable energy is critical for our society and economy. The broad concept of adapting distributed energy resources to grid resources, from customer programs, is a key approach to address these complex system needs. Three experts will share their perspective on current and future industry needs when it comes to emerging frameworks for valuing DERs, plus delivery models and system architectures.
