Power Utility Superintendent Position OpeningSaturday, October 29, 2016 JOB TITLE: Superintendent SUMMARY: The purpose of the position is to provide general supervision and direction of the Power Division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Normally supervises less than 30 employees. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION: College graduate holding a BS degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering. EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years’ experience in the management and engineering of an electrical system. CONTACT: Above normal contact directing activities of the Division of Power personnel. About 60% of the time will be spent in contact with the public and/or public officials in an authoritative capacity.
