ACTION:
1. Join us Online for the 41st PLMA Conference.  
The 41st PLMA Conference, originally scheduled to be presented in Scottsdale, Arizona, will instead be presented online with a mix of live and pre-recorded content presented at no charge to members and non-members alike.  The updated conference agenda includes live 2-hour-long webcasts on Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22 as well as pre-recordings of much of the rest of the previously scheduled conference content as practical.  The pre-recordings will be made available to all conference registrants for your binge-watching pleasure starting on April 20.  Learn more and register for free at www.peakload.org/41st-plma-conference.

DR/DER Training Series, Los Angeles.  Southern California Edison will host the next PLMA Training Series the week of May 18 in their Irwindale, California facility outside Los Angeles.  The week-long series includes back-to-back presentations of the DR/DER Market Fundamentals 2-day course and DR/DER Program Design and Implementation 2-day course.  Details at www.peakload.org/demand-response-training

41st PLMA Conference, Scottsdale.  Over 65 abstract submissions are currently being reviewed by the Conference Planning Group.  Agenda will be announced in early February.  Attendee and sponsor registration with hotel reservation details are at www.peakload.org/41st-conference-attend.

DistribuTECH.  PLMA Breakfast Meet-up is Tuesday morning at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse; Michael Brown will present about PLMA's Future of DER Compendium on Tuesday afternoon; Ed Thomas will represent PLMA as chair of two sessions on exhibit floor on Thursday morning.

Publications.  Annual Report will be published later today. Thought Leadership 2019 and 16th Award Winning Initiatives Compendiums will be published soon in coordination with call for award nominations and conference attendance promotion launch.

Executive Director Search. A Search Committee led by Vice Chair Richard Barone, Hawaiian Electric is conducting interviews with a short list of candidates with a goal to extend an offer to a prospective new Executive Director early next year.

Interest Group Activity. Justin Chamberlain and Olivia Patterson have stepped down as Connected Devices Interest Group Co-chairs; and Andrea Simmonsen and Sharyn Barata have stepped down as Customer Engagement Interest Group Co-chairs. 

Executive Director Search. At a very exciting time in the evolution of the energy industry, and on the heels of impressive PLMA membership growth, PLMA is launching a search for a new Executive Director who will help drive the completion of new strategic initiatives, bolster a support framework for PLMA’s volunteer leaders and expert practitioners, and build alliances with like-minded organizations that will help drive the global mission of the organization. Learn more, share with those who may be interested, or apply by November 25 at www.peakload.org/plma-exec-director-search.
