ACTION ITEMS: PLMA Call for Awards Nominations: PLMA has launched our 18th Call for Awards nominations which will culminate in the recognition of outstanding load management programs, initiatives, and achievements from calendar year 2020. Annual Report. With guidance from Jenny Roehm and Michael Ohlsen of PLMA's Thought Leadership group, PLMA has published its 2020 Annual Report, which commends the dynamic and highly engaged nature of PLMA's member practitioners despite the challenges of 2020.
Thought Leadership Publication. Also with the assistance of the Thought Leadership group, PLMA has published an excerpt from its upcoming 2020 Thought Leadership Compendium titled "Department of Energy’s Future Connected Communities: Validating Buildings as a Grid Resource." It highlights the U.S. Department of Energy's FOA 0002206 (deadline March 2021) and is intended as an additional resource for organizations participating in this upcoming funding opportunity.
43rd Conference. 50 presentation abstracts have been submitted and are now being scored by approximately 40 member-volunteers. The 43rd PLMA Conference agenda will be announced in early February.
Conference Planning Group. Meridith Nierenberg of West Monroe Partners will join Bruce Brazis of Arizona Public Service as a co-chair of the Conference Planning Group.
Connected Devices Interest Group. Cindy Berry of Austin Energy will join Kari Bindley of ecobee and J.T. Thompson of Enbala as a co-chair of the Connected Devices Interest Group.
42nd Conference. It's still not too late to "sign-up" and get access to the 42nd PLMA Conference recordings. You can use your member passes or pay the $395 member fee to get access to the 18 recorded presentations, including the Live Q&A sessions.
Resource Directory Updates. Most recent addition is an excerpt from PLMA’s 2020 Thought Leadership Compendium titled "U.S. Department of Energy’s Future Connected Communities: Validating Buildings as a Grid Resource," plus a webcast/podcast recording of "Perspectives on FERC Order 2222."
