International Interest Group Formation. Any PLMA Board Member or At-Large Representative, or a designate, are welcome to attend a webcall to explore formation of a PLMA International Interest Group on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. To register, go to attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1291951839558044929 . If you can't make that date/time, register anyway to demonstrate your interest and receive the meeting recording. Scott Coe of GridOptimize and Ross Malme of Skipping Stone have expressed interest in being Group Co-chairs. An outcome of this Feb. 13 discussion could be an in-person meeting in Coronado in April to explore development of services to benefit utilities around the world, such as international workshops, sister utilities exchanges, and on-line collaboration tools.
Member Meet-ups. Over 70 attended the PLMA Member Meet-up @ Distributech 2018 in San Antonio. The next Member Meet-up will be on Feb. 20 at the AESP National Conference in New Orleans. Speakers Bureau. PLMA helps place presenters as PLMA representatives for special topics, details at www.peakload.org/speakers-bureau. On February 21, Jason Cigarran, Itron, will be presenting on the Dynamic Pricing session @ AESP Conference in New Orleans and Rich Barone, Hawaiian Electric will represent PLMA on the DER session at Parks Assoc Smart Energy Summit in Austin. Parks Assoc. has also provided a $500 discount for PLMA members planning to attend that event, details in the calendar link.
Website Transition. Staff moved to new association management system in Dec/Jan which resulted is adjustments in website navigation and email management as well as the need for all to reset member log-in passwords.
