PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Role is considered to be the Career Level. Perform detailed analysis and prepare comprehensive reports to support business operations. Conduct complex modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, business case development, and other general financial and operational analysis. Monitor and coordinate activities to manage operational performance (e.g., safety, reliability, service level, productivity, etc.). Research and provide statistical financial and operational information. Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop, organize and present performance reports for both internal and external use. Develop and conduct short-term and long-range business planning. May develop, implement, evaluate or lead projects or initiatives (e.g., business plan or process improvement initiatives). Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Serve as liaison between residential and income eligible energy efficiency program teams and the portfolio’s independent evaluator to facilitate program evaluation and research. Programs include energy efficiency and electrification initiatives.
  • Support the department in the evaluation, measurement, and verification of the portfolio, including providing programmatic/reporting recommendations, proactively identifying and addressing evaluation risks, ensuring accurate application of evaluation findings, and tracking evaluation activities to ensure that the portfolio is delivered according to ICC rules and regulations.
  • Work across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of data to the independent evaluator.
  • Lead regular meetings between program teams and the independent evaluator to address questions, program status, and ongoing evaluation activities.
  • Work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders including the Illinois Stakeholder Advisory Group and Illinois Technical Reference Manual Technical Advisory Committee. Respond to ICC requests or implementation of ICC orders.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing and meeting timelines and achieving results within budget. Procure and manage services from vendors. This includes conducting requests for proposal, regular meetings to obtain progress reports and provide feedback and corrective actions as necessary, as well as ensuring that Accounts Payable functions (invoicing and accruals) are conducted according to applicable Corp. Policies and Procedures and comply with appropriate accounting and Sarbanes Oxley rules.
