The Position and the Team You Will Work With
As the Vice President of Sales, North America you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy that maximizes opportunities across all Bidgley’s customer and grid product lines. The Vice President of Sales will focus on growing the business through persistent, adaptive and smart sales strategy & tactics via strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision makers at the senior leadership (VP/SVP/CXO) levels.  

As Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for implementing plans to achieve strategic objectives and you will regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met via a data driven and transparent process.

As the Vice President of Sales you will:

  • Lead the recruitment, development, and mentoring of a high-performing sales team, fostering their motivation to surpass sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and a focused approach towards closing deals and generating revenue.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within North America to drive business growth and maximize opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape, proactively identifying areas for expansion and improvement in alignment with the utility’s software landscape.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Account Management, Implementation, and Product groups, to ensure synergy and cooperation in achieving company objectives.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to measure progress, identify growth opportunities, and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights to optimize sales performance.
  • Generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts, accurately predicting revenue on a regular basis.
  • Handle escalations and conduct weekly progress meetings with the sales team to track performance and address any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
