EFI is seeking a proactive National Business Development Manager to contribute to growing EFI’s portfolio of technical services and energy efficient products and to add to its diversified customers of 

  • Utilities – Electric and Gas
  • Energy services companies (esco’s)
  • Weatherization contractors
  • State Agencies

EFI is a 40+ year old non-profit based on the east coast and provides utility engagement solutions like marketplaces, rebate programs, energy efficiency program solutions as well as energy savings kits.  EFI is also a product distributor and works on various Direct Install programs across the USA.  

This role is for a sales hunter with experience in utility energy efficiency programs and products, utility industry knowledge and understand the changes occurring in the energy sector focusing on electrification.  

You will:

  • Sell the EFI product solutions suite including creating awareness of EFI 
  • Actively prospect, attend conferences, understand industry trends
  • Understand the competitive market, be familiar with competing companies and their product and services suite
  • Collaborate within the EFI team on strategy, marketing efforts, and customer care
  • Travel extensively for in person relationship building and conference presentations
  • Prepare reports and tracking documents relative to meeting performance goals, forecasting business levels, identifying new opportunities and implementing programs.
  • Own an assigned sales quota to develop new business - your primary objective is to hit revenue and fees targets
