The Utility Load Management Exchange's (ULME's) mission is to promote load control as a viable option for utility deployments in demand reduction, economic dispatch, and/or T&D reliability through a forum for utility staff members to share information on program design, marketing, vendor management, benefit-costs and technology deployments.

Everyone should plan to attend.  We encourage car pooling; ride sharing and taxi service is readily available for the short ride to dinner (about 11 minutes, 2.1 miles). We will be seated for dinner at 6:00 pm sharp. Dress is business casual.

Travel Day


Registration for the ULME Fall Meeting is open to utility representatives only. A hosted dinner, lunch, and breakfast will be provided. You are responsible for your own travel and hotel expense.  CLICK HERE to register.  For those of you who are not with PLMA member organizations, you are invited to try it out so you can join us at breakfast on Tuesday, prior to the ULME meeting.

Getting Around

  • San Diego International Airport is the closest airport.
  • Parking: On-site self parking is available at the Del Coronado for a fee of $30 per night and valet parking is available for $40 per night. Otherwise, parking on Coronado Island can be difficult.  Ride sharing is encouraged.

Ride sharing is encouraged.  Parking will be at a premium.  Download the app for either Uber or Lyft to your smart phone, set up your account, and take a ride.
