Mark Kerbel as mentor

Mark Kerbel was a past PLMA Vice Chair and At-Large Director; a past Conference presenter, most recently at 35th PLMA Conference in Delray Beach; and a training mentor, most recently at the PLMA Training Series hosted by SCE in October 2015. Mark is at the far left in the photo above taken at SCE.  PLMA is making a donation in Mark's memory to the Moores Cancer Center, UCSD, San Diego.

KERBEL, Mark - It is with great sorrow and deep regret that we inform you of the passing of Mark Kerbel. Mark passed away on November 29, 2017 in San Diego, California after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Sabrina, son Mitchell, parents, Michael & Rachel Kerbel, sister, Sharon Kerbel, in laws, Solomon & Ann Samson, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Fleur Samson & Arik Kapulkin, and uncle Henry Fishman. Cherished uncle to his nephews, Yoram, Eli, Benny, Eitan, and his niece, Haya. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts. The funeral will be held in Toronto at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue west (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Shiva 5 Amos Crescent, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to The Canadian Associates of Ben Gurion University of the Negev, 416-665- 8054 or Moores Cancer Center, UCSD, San Diego, 858-534-4493.
