Brenda joined SEPA in 2017. She manages SEPA’s Annual Utility Survey and Snapshot Series, and supports a range of research efforts on the integration of distributed energy resources. Prior to SEPA, Brenda worked as a consultant at ICF, focusing on distributed energy resources, Utility of the Future and grid modernization efforts. She holds a master’s degree in sustainable development from the University of St. Andrews, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies from Emory University.
Brett Feldman is a principal research analyst with Navigant, focusing on demand response programs and their implications for the global power industry. Prior to joining Navigant Research, he was a principal for demand response at Constellation Energy and a demand response program manager at Eversource. He has also served as the chair of the Business Issues Committee of the Association of Demand Response and Smart Grid, the chair of the New York Independent System Operator Price Responsive Load Working Group, the vice chair of the Independent System Operator-New England Demand Resources Working Group, and the co-chair of the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Committee. He is a recipient of PLMA’s 2014 Outstanding Market Research Award and 2017 Thought Leader Award.
At EnergyHub, Mike is responsible for leading design and development of EnergyHub’s Mercury DERMS platform for distributed energy resources (DERs), connected thermostats and energy management devices. Prior to EnergyHub, Mike held management positions at a number of companies, including Meetup and The Electric Sheep Company, an Emmy award-winning social experience and game developer. Mike received his MBA in Marketing and Finance and BS in Operations Research from Columbia University.
Kent Walter is the Manager of Customer Technology Product Development. Customer Technology’s goal is to enable APS customers to achieve their energy related goals in mutual customer and grid value relationships. In his more than 10 years of energy experience, Kent has been the Regulatory contact for the wholesale power trading operations, Leader of Energy Accounting, and helped integrate APS into the regional Energy Imbalance Market.
