Many in the energy sector are familiar with electric demand response (DR), but this past winter, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas®) introduced an innovative new type of DR program… with natural gas and ecobee smart thermostats. In this webcast, you’ll learn how SoCalGas engaged with ecobee and EnergyHub and how the utility was able to launch the program within a relatively short timeframe.

Nancy Carrell Lawrence and Michelle Cook of SoCalGas will share how they designed the program, why they chose ecobee as a partner and how they enrolled several hundred households in less than two months. The discussion will be moderated by Peter Black of ecobee and Tyler Rogers of EnergyHub.

This discussion will be ideal for utility professionals who are interested in learning more about the new frontier of natural gas DR and the fundamental tenets of DR direct control program design, marketing and execution.

Plan to join PLMA for a dialogue with these industry thought leaders.

Who Should Attend.
Utility and regulatory staff as well as other energy industry trade allies and organizations seeking thought leadership and insight on innovative demand response methods to meet peak energy load needs, mitigate price, and manage variable generation.
